Audio Technica ATH-R50x Open Reference Headphones

Reference open headphones for mixing and critical listening

The ATH-R50X are open design headphones designed to offer a natural listening experience, with a wide and realistic sound scene. They are ideal for tasks where precision is key, such as mixing, mastering or production in stereo, immersive and immersive formats.

They incorporate 45 mm drivers based on those of the acclaimed ATH-R70X model, but redesigned to achieve an even more precise balance, with surprisingly defined basses for an open design, and a clear reproduction of voices and main instruments without sacrificing naturalness.

The fully open design eliminates any artificial coloring of the sound, allowing the music to flow unrestricted from the transducers. In addition, its lightweight construction and new headband design ensure comfort during long listening sessions. Replaceable velor pads and two detachable cables included complete a versatile set and ready for studio work or personal enjoyment.
