SQ Waves provides any SQ mixer with a 64 × 64, 96 kHz or 48 kHz interface to a Waves SoundGrid network using
the I/O port. Engineers can now adapt the Waves card to any SQ mixer for processing
Waves plugins, multitrack recording (at 96kHz or 48kHz), virtual sound testing, and audio distribution applications.

Waves SoundGrid is an Ethernet audio protocol developed by Waves for real-time professional audio applications. 
The card also allows the use of existing Waves plugins with very low latency, using networks 
Standard Gigabit Ethernet instead of a USB connection.
